Rose Dorcey

Rose Dorcey is an aviation writer, editor, and pilot with a deep passion for Wisconsin’s aviation history. A longtime advocate for aviation and a champion for those entering the field, she has played a significant role in preserving and sharing the stories of aviators and aviation milestones. In recognition of her contributions, she was inducted into the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame in 2022. 

Kevin Hermening

Kevin Hermening is an active community volunteer, small business owner, and Marine veteran.

He was the youngest of the Americans held hostage for 444 days at the US Embassy in Iran from 1979 to 1981, after Islamic terrorists captured the entire diplomatic staff.

He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the owner of Hermening Financial Group.

Mr. Hermening served a total of 13 years in the Marine Corps. He is the recipient of the US State Department's Award for Valor, and received the Prisoner of War Medal, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the nation's highest peacetime military decoration, from the Department of Defense.

He received his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. 

Mr. Hermening challenges all Americans to remember daily the sacrifices that those who wear the uniform of their country make in service to our nation.
