Based in Wausau, Wisconsin, EAA Chapter 640 is an active and engaged group of pilots, aviation lovers, mechanics, RC flyers, educators, students and their families.
We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so.

From our humble beginnings as an idea (the Wittman Legacy) shared on the floor of the airport terminal to the successful culmination of Paul Poberezny’s Baby Ace opening Air Venture 2014, our goal has always been to help young people and adults realize their full potential by providing the tools and guidance to ensure success.
