What:
CAF RISE ABOVE is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization dedicated to educating audiences across the country about the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen and Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP). Their strength of character, courage and ability to triumph over adversity may serve as a means to inspire others to RISE ABOVE obstacles in their own lives and achieve their goals.
The RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit is a fully functional mobile movie theater featuring the original film “Rise Above.” Entrance is FREE!
This immersive experience is housed in a climate-controlled 53’ semi trailer with expandable sides and equipped with a ramp and hydraulic lift to ensure access to all. Visitors will see, hear and “feel” what it was like for the Tuskegee Airmen and WASP to achieve their dream of flying and help preserve freedom during World War II.
